this good work done for God. Your support for God’s Church is a
work of service and gives indication that you appreciate the work of God that
is being accomplished here at Sacred Heart. God will not overlook your

SACRED HEART SCHOOL NOTEBOOK
Sacred Heart congratulates
our First Communicants! During the last two weeks, over one hundred third
graders from our PREP and School programs received the precious Body of Jesus for the first time. All of the
children approached the altar with reverence and great respect. To the
parents who have led their children to this church and beautiful sacrament, we
say thank you for being the instruments of the Lord. Each time you bring your
child to church, each time you encourage them to say or do the right thing,
each time you hug them and tell them how incredibly loved they
are, you are acting as Jesus, here on earth.
To the First Communicants,
we pray that the excitement and joy which you felt this first time will be in
your hearts each and every time you come to the Lord's altar! All of the

We have
received word from Bishop Cistone, that he will be coming to Sacred Heart to
celebrate Confirmation on
Please do
not misplace these forms and study sheets. August 1st is the dead line to return registration forms,
eligibility forms for sponsors, and Baptism certificates (if they are not yet
on file with us). Due to the early date given us by the Bishop, dates for class
preparation, practices, reflection night, etc. will need to have adjustments to
our normal schedules. We will get the information to you as soon as possible.
As always, your cooperation and assistance are deeply appreciated and they help
us to be able to help you.
PARISH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PREP – CCD has
opened registration for the coming year. Registration forms have been sent home
with the children presently attending PREP.
Also, registration forms will be available in the vestibule of Church,
in the Rectory, and in the Religious Education Office, (located in the School
building).
Parents who
will be registering children for next year’s session, are encouraged to register early – THAT IS NOW. Please do not
wait until August or September. Why?
Because doing so now,
provides us with sufficient time to line up class lists, etc., and it also
allows for ample time for ordering and receiving a proper number of books, etc.
This also allows for less expense in the cost of books and materials. So, help
us help you, be considerate and do it now.

The Elizabeth Ministry at Sacred Heart seeks to build connections among women who are in the childbearing/child-raising
season of life. We gather monthly in
each other’s homes to share stories, pray, and grow together in our Catholic
faith. We also seek to assist anyone in
